“How can you delete apps from your iPad device?”

Sometimes, an app has just got to go.

Whether you need to make room for other apps, or its gotten under your skin with glitches too many times, or maybe you just feel the need to clean house a bit – apps are luckily easy to get rid of. Be sure to keep in mind that deleting an app deletes all the info you’ve given it. Sometimes, in the case of apps like Dropbox, Evernote, and IFTTT, your info is kept in the cloud, so all is not lost if you accidentally delete the app or delete and re-install at a later time. Just be sure to check before deleting an app with all your critical meeting notes!

Delete an app from the iPad:

1. On the iPad home screen, hit any app icon on the screen for 4-5 seconds, until all the apps begin to wiggle around. In this setting, you can also reorganize your apps, which is awesome if you’re OCD like me!

2. Find the app you’d like to remove and simply tap the black ‘x’ in the apps’ top left corner.

3. A screen pops up that asks if you’re really sure you want to delete the app and of its data. Continue by pressing the Delete button.

Voila! Bye-bye iPad app. Should you ever want to re-install the app later (flip-flopper!), just relocate it in the App Store and install again.
